Lovingly renovated to retain the beautiful charm of yesteryear, this historic home nestled in the heart of the New England Tablelands, lays claim to being the highest Station Master’s House in the Southern Hemisphere.

THE GUESTHOUSE
We have lovingly renovated this home to reflect its past, but were mindful of bringing light and love into her spaces. So we introduced a warm colour palette, along with eclectic furnishings, all of which are a nod to the home’s English architecture.
The red door, The Station Master’s most recognisable feature was given a fresh lick of paint and the front sunroom, formerly a garage, has yellow ochre floors, making it the happiest room in the world!

THE REGION
At an altitude of 1,364 metres above sea level, Ben Lomond experiences all of the seasons. Snowfall in Winter, sees people flock to the area with their young families.
Spring is a flurry of new life, with lambs and calves abounding. Our mild Summers are easeful and enjoyable, and Autumn brings with it a golden glow of foliage.
Whether it’s walking, mountain biking, fishing, exploring nearby regional towns or simply relaxing with a book, we know you will love Ben Lomond and her surrounds.
We were very happy to be Tom and Tina’s first Airbnb guests. They have done an excellent job of renovating the property to a high standard. Our kids particularly liked the firepit, the fast internet and the large garden space. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. Tom and Tina were very helpful and good to deal with. Ben Lomond is very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay.
